BALLI’DA BİR GÜN…..

Antalya’nın ılık taşından, kuzeyin soğuk kayasına… iki farklı dünya adeta. Bu haftasonu bir sefer daha Ballıkayalar’ın gri-beyaz, garip kireçtaşındaydım, tırmanış arkadaşlarım Aykut Türem ve Mustafa Yeşildal ile beraber. Gölgedeki rotalarda parmak üşüten ve his kaybettiren soğuğa rağmen  güzel  bir gündü. Yukarıdaki resimlerde gördüğünüz Ejder Pençesi (VIII-) ve Percussion (VI+) rotalarında foto çalışması yapmak fırsatı da oldu. Tırmanış fotoğrafçılığı işi çok uğraştırıcı ve zor bir iş gerçekten. Tırmanan adamı en iyi görüntülemek üzere, fotoğrafçı o rotayı çıkıyor, istasyondan sarkıyor ve bekliyor….

Kayada geçen bir gün, en güzel gündür!!

ANOTHER DAY İN BALLI CANYON

From the warm stone of the Mediterranean to the chilling crags of the North Turkey- a different world altogether! This weekend, we broke the monotony of İstanbul life by spending another day in the white- gray weird limestone of the Balli Canyon.  İt not really too cold to prevent action for us… With my climber friends Aykut Turem and Mustafa Yesildal we climbed  number of routes and made a photo workout on the routes ‘Ejder’ (VIII-) and ‘Percussion’ (VI+). Despite the finger-numbing cold on routes with shade, it was a superb day- to be repeated soon.

A day on rock is better than any other day!!!
